EMPIRE DISPLAY

Stencil typeface inspired by Doug Thomas’ grandfather's storage items from the 1960s. The letterform was first popularized in the late 1920s in the US and Europe as jazz typography. In subsequent decades it has been labeled Art Deco for its connection to other stylistic movements of the era.
